  10. None of my Telebit Q-Blazers will connect to anything.  No matter what 
  11. number I dial, it eventually responds with "NO CARRIER".  Other modems 
  12. work on the same line, so I'm suspecting that the problem is specific to
  13. the Q-Blazers.

  15. I'm not fluent in the language of telephony, but it looks to me like the
  16. connection is timing out and dropping before the baud rate negotiation 
  17. completes.  Does that make sense?  Is there anything I can tell the
  18. Q-Blazer that will make it work?
